Kwan started out as a talent management company that handles sports personalities but has grown into an influential player in the Hindi film industry, with actors, directors, script writers, and authors on its rolls. Of the top 10 hits last year, seven were made by Kwan’s directors. Kwan calls itself a “marketplace” that serves three worlds: commercial entertainment, commercial sports, and commercial brands. It is now looking to leverage its strengths in fashion, fitness and personal care, digital content and distribution, and music. It launched a fashion company, Mojostar, this year. Kwan also expanded into the South to tap into the Telugu and Tamil movie industries.
