Budget to cater to aspirations of common people of India: PM Modi

In his address ahead of the beginning of the Budget Session of Parliament today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the General Budget 2023-24 is going to be a centre of attraction for not only India but the entire world amid the global economic uncertainties.

PM Modi, while speaking outside Parliament, emphasised, “Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be tabling one more budget tomorrow. In today’s global economic context, the country’s upcoming General Budget is a focus area for not only India but the entire world. Amid the uncertain global economic scenario, India’s budget will not only seek to cater to the expectations and aspirations of the common people of India but will also be instrumental in showcasing India as a ray of hope amid the global economic gloom.”

“I am confident that Nirmala ji will try her best to fulfil these expectations. India first, the citizen-first is the key ideology of the BJP-led NDA government. Taking forward these values and sentiments, the Budget Session should be an opportunity for logical debates, even if there may be ideological differences. I am confident the Opposition leaders will keep their point of view with detailed research and precision in the House during the Budget Session. The House will deliberate and decide in the best interest of the nation,” PM Modi said.
