Gujarat has ecosystem for medical devices investments: Mandaviya

Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Thursday said the global medical equipment manufacturing companies are looking at investments in India. “FDI through the automatic route has been approved for the medical device sector. Global medical device companies want to invest in India given creation of the ecosystem and policy reforms in the sector. Ahmedabad is the best place for investment in the medical device sector. Gujarat is the best destination for the investments as it has the ecosystem in the form of skilled manpower and entrepreneurship,” Mandaviya said addressing India Med Tech Expo 2023 on Thursday.
