Bobble started in 2015 as an app to turn selfies into stickers. A year later brothers Ankit and Rahul launched an Indic keypad app to distribute these stickers and other conversational content like GIFs. Today, Bobble boasts of over 50 million users as well as a list of partners that includes Xiaomi, Foxconn, Apple, and Amazon. Bobble, which has raised $12.6 million so far, also offers transliteration and voiceto-text services. The A.I.-reliant startup filed 10 patents in 2020 and focussed on monetisation from August, closing FY21 with revenue of $500,000.
