Ola Electric launches the Gig and S1 Z range of scooters, including Ola Gig, Ola Gig+, Ola S1 Z, and Ola S1 Z+, starting at an introductory price of ₹39,999, ₹49,999, ₹59,999, and ₹64,999, respectively. The company announced that the model Ola S1 Z+ is designed for both personal and commercial use, focusing on e-commerce or delivery partners and small business owners.

Ola Gig

Ola Gig scooter offers IDC-certified range of 112 km and a top speed of 25 kmph. It is equipped with a removable 1.5 kWh battery, a hub motor, 12-inch tyres for braking, priced at ₹39,999. The Ola Gig will be available for B2B purchases and rentals.

Ola Gig+

The Ola Gig+ scooter offers a top speed of 45 kmh and features a removable single/dual battery of 1.5 kWh each, providing an IDC-certified range of 81 km per battery (157 km X 2). Powered by a hub motor with a peak output of 1.5 kW, the Ola Gig+ will be available for B2B purchases and rentals.

Ola S1 Z

The S1 Z features removable dual batteries of 1.5 kWh each, offering an IDC-certified range of 75 km (146 km X 2). It comes with a top speed of 70 kmph, an LCD display, and a physical key. Powered by a 2.9 kW hub motor, it can clock 0-20 kmph in 1.8 seconds and 0-40 km in 4.8 seconds. S1 Z is priced at ₹59,999.

S1 Z+

The S1 Z+ features two removable 1,5 kWh batteries, offering an IDC-certified range of 75 km per battery (146 km combined). It has a top speed of 70 km/h, 14-inch tires, and LCD display, and a physical key. Powered by a 2.9 kW  hub motor, it accelerates from 0 to 20 km/h in 1.8 seconds and reaches 40 km/h in 4.7 seconds. The Ola S1 Z+ is priced at ₹64,999.

“The new range of our scooters also features portable batteries that can double up as an inverter using the Ola PowerPod and power home appliances allowing for more efficient use of our batteries. The company also introduced the PowerPod, priced at ₹9,999, a portable inverter designed to power small household appliances, lights, fans, and other essential devices. The PowerPod has a maximum output of 500W, a 1.5kWh battery that can provide power for 3 hours to run 5 LED bulbs, 3 ceiling fans, 1 TV, 1 Mobile charging, and 1 Wi-Fi router.

“In addition to the Ola Gig and Ola S1 Z Range, Ola Electric currently offers an expansive S1 scooter portfolio with six offerings across attractive price points catering to customers with different range requirements. While the premium offerings S1 Pro and S1 Air are priced at ₹1,34,999 and ₹1,07,499, respectively, the mass-market offerings include the S1 X portfolio (2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh) priced at ₹74,999, ₹87,999, and ₹101,999, respectively,” the company states in a release.

The company also launched the Roadster motorcycle series, which includes Roadster X available in 2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh and 4.5 kWh models, Roadster offering 3.5 kWh, 4.5 kWh and 6 kWh options and Roadster  Pro (with 8kWh and 16 kWh variants).
