Bombardier’s Rs 200 crore plant in Savli, Gujarat, already supplies coaches to the Delhi Metro Rail Corp. (DMRC) as well as Adelaide, Australia. It rolls out at least one coach each day to meet orders worth Rs 4,850 crore. Alstom’s factory near Chennai is also in the works.
