Less than 20% of India has access to computing and an even smaller population owns a computing device, Ghosh points out. Her brainchild, a nationwide digital literacy programme that aims to cover 5 million people by year-end, reached 1.3 million people this year, adding to last year's 3 million. But Ghosh isn’t neglecting the top line: Intel expects India revenue to grow 15% over the next three years on the back of increased spending by academic institutes, the government, as well as cloud service providers.
