Thanks to the slowdown— made worse by the Covid-19 pandemic—it hasn’t been an easy ride for the auto components industry. Yet, NRB managed to get back to pre-Covid sales levels after it was allowed to resume operations. Zaveri has reinvented her business to emerge as one of the major suppliers for hybrid/electric vehicles worldwide. The company is also one of the first Indian auto component manufacturers to set up a 125-employee factory in Thailand, which accounts for 7% of its revenue.
