She led the company’s expansion into select overseas market, which has started yielding results—the company won orders worth over $200 million from countries like Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates. It also set up a manufacturing facility in Indonesia to cater to ASEAN markets. The financials of the company were healthy—order booking grew 45.2% to ₹6,380 crore in 2017-18 and revenues from the international business increased 13.2% to ₹1,794 crore. Pudumjee has also made sure Thermax recognises the rising demand for more energy-efficient and environment-friendly solutions.
