Dhawan calls this year one of Hewlett-Packard India’s transformation. Despite currency fluctuations and policy flip-flops, she focussed on growing revenue. The result: HP has managed to maintain its leadership position in the Indian printer and PC markets. One out of every two printers sold in India is made by HP, as is one out of every three PCs. A 34% share of the PC market is the highest HP has managed in recent years. Notable deals include a Rs 2,800 crore contract from the government of Uttar Pradesh for digital inclusion, and enterprise service contracts from Welspun, Bharti Airtel, and Britannia. Dhawan also serves on the Philips Supervisory Board and chairs Nasscom’s Domestic IT Council.
