In the fight against Covid-19, Rai worked closely with government, industry, and academia to bring to fruition high-impact technology-led initiatives. Intel India collaborated with the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, to build a platform for diagnostics and analytics based on artificial intelligence, genomics, and co-morbidities to combat Covid-19. She also led Nasscom’s Covid-19 task force that created a pandemic response platform with a robust set of population-scale Covid-19 indicators that help predict outbreaks, improve medical care administration, and enable stimulation of economic activities.
