Nivruti Rai, former country head, Intel India and vice president, Intel Foundry Services, is among the few women technocrats in India. Heading Intel India since 2016, she was appointed to lead the newly formed Automotive Solutions Group for Intel Foundry Services globally in 2022. Intel India runs the company’s largest engineering and research development centre outside its headquarters in U.S. ”I am a risk taker, and I love working with people. My biggest takeaway has been working collaboratively and not being afraid of trying something new,” says Nivruti.
In past one year, under her leadership, Intel has launched a new line of business in India, Intel Onboard Fleet Services, an AI-powered solution for commercial vehicles which assists drivers with advanced driver assistance system from Mobileye, collision avoidance system, driver monitoring system, fleet video telematics, fleet health and fuel efficiency features. Intel’s focus on health, agriculture and smart mobility saw it pilot the ‘secure federated learning platform’ for healthcare aimed at transforming drug discovery, diagnosis, genomics and predictive healthcare. She joined Invest India as MD & CEO in July 2023.
