ROSHNI NADAR Malhotra, chairperson, HCL Technologies, sees the challenge of upskilling India’s workforce in new technologies, particularly Generative AI, as a golden opportunity. HCL Tech has set an ambitious target for FY25: To upskill at least 50,000 employees. Led by Roshni, the IT major achieved industry leading growth in FY24, while becoming the fastest-growing Tier-I Indian IT services company. The growth pushed its market cap beyond the $50 billion mark. “This reflects our differentiated services and commitment to clients,” says Roshni. The firm added 73 large deals to its portfolio in FY23.
HCL Tech’s CSR investments through HCL Foundation have transformed over 6.5 million lives in India. Globally, the launch of HCL Tech Grant Americas is a commitment of $5 million over five years to support programmes that help fight climate change across the Americas.
