Vandana Luthra Curls and Curves (VLCC) is synonymous with weight management and beauty solutions and influences how tens of thousands look. Today, there’s a VLCC in 300 locations across 109 cities in nine countries. What is now a Rs 500 crore entity started out 20 years ago as a tiny outlet in South Delhi. The chain employs some 6,000 people at its centres and training institutes. The founder partners, Vandana and husband Mukesh, hold 85% in the venture, having recently bought back a 13.7% stake from CLSA, a leading brokerage and investment group.
