The more conscious we get about our size, the more business Luthra gets. At last count, the number of wellness centres she runs, including the 24 she added last year, stood at 226. But the big news is that her company is planning a primary issue sometime next year. That’s a sure sign of how the business has matured. The big push came with her buying a majority stake in Singapore’s Global Vantage Innovative Group, which makes cosmetics in its certified facility in Singapore. Luthra also set up a factory in Dhaka and forayed into Kuwait with a slimming and beauty centre. She’s now betting big on a joint venture with Kenyabased $2 billion Sameer Group, to set up, what else, wellness centres.
