The former J.P. Morgan India CEO has led some of India’s big transactions this year. These include the $440 million sale of BT’s stake in Tech Mahindra; the $175 million QIP for Jaiprakash Power Ventures; and the $100 million offerfor- sale for Jaypee Infratech. Her firm also advised Videocon on the Mozambique block stake sale, and Jet Airways on Etihad’s investment in it. Power deals apart, Bhandarkar is working on a mentoring programme for high-potential female executives based in India.
