Visionary industrialist who strove for society's greater good: Nita Ambani
Reliance Foundation chairperson Nita Ambani, RIL chairman Mukesh Ambani, their family, and RIL leadership and employees paid tributes to late Tata Group chairman Ratan Tata at the Reliance Industries Annual Diwali dinner on Tuesday.
Nita Ambani called him a 'Great Son of India', who always strove for Society's greater good."Four days ago, we lost a great son of India. The passing of Mr Ratan Tata filled us all with immense grief. He was a dear friend of my father-in-law, of Mukesh and of our family. He was also a mentor to Akash. He was a visionary industrialist and a philanthropist who always strove for society's greater good," says Nita Ambani.
Ratan Tata died at the age of 86 in a Mumbai hospital on Wednesday last week. He has been credited with driving the growth and globalisation of the Tata group, which made him not only the most powerful businessman in India but one of the most influential tycoons in the world.
