It isn't often that women, who are some of the biggest names in India Inc. congregate under one roof and discuss issues that matter to them, to business, to women, and the society at large. The annual Fortune India Most Powerful Women in business summit provides a platform for precisely that.
From income inequality to sexual harassment at the workplace, or whether women can have it all – manage a successful career and have a family and children, we get to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly of it all. Especially, at a time when gender equality has come to the fore with the #MeToo and Times Up movements worldwide, to have successful women leaders talk about these issues becomes crucial.
Over the years, Fortune India MPW has built and nurtured a community of women leaders, who come back to the summit every year for conversations, to debate and share their thoughts and experiences. This year as well, some of corporate India’s leading lights are coming together for the annual MPW summit at the St Regis Hotel in Mumbai on Monday.
