Bajaj Auto shares drop 5% after 8% dip in October sales

The sentiment was dented after Bajaj Auto trimmed its growth outlook for 2W sales in India to 5%, at the lower end of its previous estimate of 5-8%.
Bajaj’s Chetak electric scooter volumes trebled year-on-year to 70,000 units in the second quarter.
Bajaj Auto sold 18,933 electric scooters in September, taking over TVS Motor as the second-largest electric two-wheeler player during the month.
TVS already makes CNG-powered autorickshaws. Bajaj Auto has sold 8,740 CNG motorbikes since launch in July.
Ola Electric clocked registrations of 27,518 e-scooters in August, down 34% compared with 41,624 units in the previous month.
Revenue from operations stood at ₹11,928 crore in the first quarter, up 16% on the back of robust vehicle sales and record spares revenue.
