The Mumbai high court had confirmed the division bench's bail granted to the high-profile couple on February 6 in the Videocon-ICICI Bank loan case
The CBI had filed a first information report (FIR) against Kochhar, her husband and Dhoot in 2019.
This comes two days after the investigative agency arrested ICICI Bank's former CEO and managing director Chanda Kochhar and her husband Deepak Kochhar.
The investigating agency conducted searches at 18 premises of the accused including at Mumbai, Pune, Kota, Lucknow and Delhi-NCR, among others.
CBI has named Kapil and Dheeraj Wadhawan of DHFL, Sudhakar Shetty and his realty firm, eight other real estate companies, and others in the FIR as accused.
CBI says the accused was trying to exert undue influence on officers of CDSCO to waive the Phase III trial of "Insulin Aspart Injection".
The arrest comes a day after a special CBI court dismissed Chitra Ramkrishna's anticipatory bail plea
Chitra is a Law graduate, she understands that emails could serve as evidence against her. Would she write emails that shared confidential information about NSE if she had direct access to Anand?
Subramanian had been on the agency radar in the 2015 NSE co-location scam case in which some of the traders were allegedly provided preferential access to trade data.
Converting a criminal offence by Chitra into a regulatory indiscretion may set a dangerous precedent for the entire capital market ecosystem.
