A big shift seen in jobs from agriculture to industry and services in the last two months. In April, agricultural jobs declined by 5.2 mn but industry added 5.5mn and services added 6.7mn jobs.
Jobs increased across industry and services sectors. In manufacturing, metals, chemicals and cement added jobs, while in services, retail, hotels and restaurants were the segments that added jobs.
