Area under bajra (pearl millet) cultivation has grown the maximum 333% from 0.23 million hectares sown by this time last year to 0.98 million hectares in June this year
The MSP for bajra was revised to ₹2,500 per quintal from ₹2,350 a quintal last year. The MSP for tur has been raised to ₹7,000 a quintal from ₹6,600 a quintal a year before.
