The reason for the current milk shortfall is because of the first two waves of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020-2021.
The price hike is applicable on full-cream, toned, and double-toned milk variants.
More retail price hikes could follow in the backdrop of the current inflationary scenario, says ICRA.
