Daryani has chosen to be a good Samaritan in these tough times. Along with other startup founders and individual business owners, he has set up a support group, Entrepreneurs of Kolkata, in his home city to crowdfund Covid-19-related initiatives. While QSR chain Wow! Momo has been hit hard by the pandemic-induced lockdowns, it managed to keep the business momentum going as sales returned to preCovid-19 levels in September last year. Around the same time, it also managed to raise ₹45 crore in debt financing from Anicut Capital.
