Since its much awaited launch in October last year, the joint venture between Tata and Starbucks has launched 24 coffee shops across Pune, New Delhi, and Mumbai. It’s doing brisk business, with single stores selling up to 1,000 cups of coffee a day. Davda, who has been part of the action, right from the strategy planning stage, says the tie-up introduced an Indian Espresso Roast blend, and is also going to launch a countryspecific blend being developed by Tata Coffee.
