In a market that’s cut-throat and growing exponentially, Srinivasan has grown the market share for TAFE, the country’s second-largest tractor company. Its sales grew 21% from 142,000 tractors to 172,000, accounting for a 0.5% increase in market share. TAFE’s overall share: 25%. Srinivasan has also set up a factory in China to meet the company’s global sourcing needs and be part of the supply chain. A factory in Turkey was expanded to produce 50hp to 125hp tractors and air-conditioned cab tractors for Europe, Asia, and Africa. Srinivasan says TAFE will increase production to make 300,000 tractors in the next two years. Earlier this year, she also bagged a Padma Shri.
