Under Reddy, Apollo’s financials remained healthy, with revenue reaching Rs 4,384 crore in FY14, a growth of 16%. Reddy is committed to keep adding large numbers of pharmacies a year and launch the next version of a telemedicine platform that will allow users to consult the hospital’s doctors anytime and from anywhere in the world through video conferencing. Meanwhile, Apollo notched up a few firsts over the past year: successful treatment of a 64-year-old woman diagnosed with three kinds of cancer; successful treatment of a 110-year-old patient; and hip replacement surgery on a 103-year-old.
