Bijapurkar is on the board of some of India’s biggest companies. She’s also the mind behind some of India Inc.’s big marketing moves. She was the lone woman on the Infosys board, which she quit early this year. Having been on the board since 2001, this alumna of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) helped the IT bellwether chart its course through the past decade. Currently, she serves on the boards of Axis Bank, Crisil, Give Foundation, and Mahindra Holidays and Resorts, even while advising a plethora of her own clients. She is also the bestselling author of We Are Like That Only: Understanding the Logic of Consumer India.
