Under Bali, Britannia’s operating profit margin went up to 10% in the quarter ending June 2013, compared with 6.7% a year ago. The stock price has gone up 28% in one year. Even as she prepares for a new global role in Britannia, Bali was invited to join the United Nations SUN (Scaling Up Nutrition) initiative, and appointed to Swiss agrochem giant Syngenta’s board.
