Goel’s online furniture business, Urban Ladder, works with 16 furniture makers and has six warehouses to cater to Bangalore, Mumbai, and Delhi. The company increased a supplier’s turnover from Rs 5 lakh per month in July 2012 to Rs 35 lakh by last December. Urban Ladder has raised $6 million in two years.
